Tony Rolfe – ICT Specialist and Primary Computing Lead

Tony Rolfe is the Computing Lead and a specialist ICT teacher at Warren Road Primary School, with over 25 years’ experience in the ICT industry. He has worked with schools, academy trusts and teacher training providers to deliver practical, engaging professional development that helps teachers at all stages of their career.

Tony is passionate about moving ICT beyond the confines of the computer suite. He champions a cross-curricular approach where technology supports problem solving, creativity and real world connections, helping pupils to understand ICT’s role in everyday life. His training sessions are designed to give teachers the confidence to embed ICT meaningfully across the curriculum.

More recently, Tony has been leading work on artificial intelligence in education. He shows teachers how AI can save time, enhance learning and open up new possibilities in the classroom. His approachable style encourages educators to embrace AI as a tool for support, rather than something to be wary of.
